Trees For Me's PhD student Swastika Chakravorty presents research updates on forest management for biodiversity and profit.
This webinar will present a site-adapted planting design for silver birch and conifer stands, with a focus on optimising net present value by prioritising energy biomass and silver birch timber production. It will explore biodiversity and revenue trade-offs, supported by comparative analyses and management considerations at both stand and landscape levels.
The presentation is given by Swastika Chakravorty, PhD student at Luleå University of Technology and within Trees For Me.
