About me
I am a PhD student in Human Geography at Umeå University. I have a bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Tübingen, Germany, and a master’s degree in Human Geography with a specialization in Spatial Planning and Development from Umeå University. For my master’s thesis I conducted a case study of residents’ responses to densification in Umeå Municipality. In my free time you are most likely to find me reading, strolling through a secondhand store, or enjoying the sunshine outside.
About my research project
My research in work package 4 on societal transitions will focus on the attitudes of different stakeholders, including forest owners and society, towards a large-scale increase of broadleaves and fast-growing broadleaves (FGB) in Swedish forests. Moreover, insight will be given on benefits and challenges seen by those groups related to such a forest management transition. Since there are both physical and social regional differences between the north and south of Sweden, it is essential to take these into account.
